Personal data protection
Privacy notice
Last updated: 3 July 2026
This notice describes how personal data collected through the website and the “Submit your property” form are processed under Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
1. Data controller
Barchetti Srl, VAT No. 04815690401, registered office at Viale Principe Amedeo 11, Rimini, Italy. For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights: info@barchetticapital.com.
2. Data processed
The form may collect your name, contact details, property location and characteristics, opportunity description, and any documents or images attached. The server and hosting provider may also process connection data and security logs.
Do not submit special categories of personal data, identity documents or third-party information unless strictly necessary and lawfully shareable.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Data are processed to receive, assess and respond to your property enquiry and, where appropriate, to take steps or begin discussions at your request before entering into a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Further processing may be necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and security under Article 6(1)(c) and (f).
Data are not used for marketing without a separate legal basis and are not subject to solely automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Provision of data
Fields marked with an asterisk are required to assess and handle the request. Without them, the form cannot be submitted. Other information and attachments are optional.
5. Processing, recipients and transfers
Data are processed electronically by authorised personnel and technical providers acting, where applicable, as processors, including hosting, email and maintenance providers. Data are not publicly disclosed.
If a provider involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, it will take place under Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, on the basis of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention
Enquiries that do not result in a relationship are retained for the time needed for assessment and normally no longer than 12 months after the last contact. If discussions continue or a relationship is established, data may be retained for the duration needed to manage the transaction and thereafter for legal, accounting or defence requirements.
7. Attachments
Files submitted through the form are checked for type and size and forwarded to the company mailbox. The website component does not retain a permanent server copy; files remain subject to the retention policies of the email service and the organisation.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection where provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR by contacting the Controller. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or seek a judicial remedy.
9. Technical services and cookies
The website does not use profiling cookies. Hosting may generate technical logs needed for security and operation. Fonts and images may be loaded from external providers, which may receive technical connection data under their own privacy notices.
